Get Ready to Scan
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your iPhone Settings
- Grant Omni Finder permission to use Bluetooth on first launch
- Stay within roughly 30 meters of the device you're searching for
- Wake your device if possible — some wearables only advertise while active
Scan the Room
- Open Omni Finder — scanning starts automatically
- Watch the top card count devices and favorites as they appear
- Browse the Favorites, Wearables, Home Devices, and Unknown sections
- Each row shows signal strength, approximate distance, and brand pill
Favorite Your Devices
- Tap the star on any row to pin it to the Favorites section
- Favorites persist between sessions so you can jump straight to what matters
- Oura-style devices favorite by brand + name; Fitbit-style favorite by UUID
- Tap the star again to unfavorite
Track Down a Device
- Tap any device row to open the detail view
- Watch the signal ring — mint green fills as signal gets stronger
- Read approximate distance in meters and raw signal in dBm
- Follow the on-screen walk guidance to narrow in on the device
- Tap FOUND IT when you've got it in hand
Customize Preferences
- Open Settings from the gear icon in the top-right
- Toggle distance units between Meters and Feet
- Choose your preferred language
- Rate the app or share it with friends and family
Good to Know
- Omni Finder can only find devices currently powered on and advertising
- Distance is an estimate — walls, bodies, and metal all weaken signal
- Some rings (like Oura) refuse unbonded connections — that's normal
- If a device rotates its Bluetooth identity, favorite it by brand + name
